Our second year with Birdies for Charity fund-raising brought in a total of $6,469.31. This total was good for a # 12 ranking out of the 72 organizations that competed and qualified us for "bonus bucks," which is the equivalent of matching funds. Mark McGuffee and Joe Lee received the club's proceeds on March 3, 2009 from Doug Garner, the public relations director for the Viking Classic golf tournament |
