Joe Lee, Camden Elementary Principal April DeLoach, Matthew Turnage Dictionary Project at Camden Elementary School Nov 9, 2011 We visited Camden Elementary school and handed out dictionaries to their two sections of third graders. We also presented Principal April DeLoach with a gift card from The Bookshelf valued at $500 to go toward summer reading materials for the students. The Bookshelf is Madison County's only locally-owned and operated bookstore.

Presentation of $5000 check to The Partnership for Jun 29, 2011 On June 29 we presented The Partnership of Central Mississippi with a check for $5000 to go toward their Let's Have A Ball program, following our June 11 Just Have A Ball 5K that made a profit of over $3500...an almost unheard-of total for a first-time race. We had 340 total entrants, including 275 runners and walkers.

We presented Claire Crawford of the Cleft Palate Foundation with a donation of $500 on 5-18-2011. 2010-2011 Presidential Citation Award May 11, 2011 District Governor Roscoe Greene presents President Mark McGuffee with the 2010-2011 Presidential Citation Award. This is the third time in four years our club has won the award. We were one of only ten clubs in District 6820 to win it.

We also presented Principal Jessica Ghoston with a gift card from The Bookshelf valued at $250 to go toward summer reading materials for the students. The Bookshelf is Madison County's only locally-owned and operated bookstore.

District Governor Joel Clements presents Joe Lee, President of Madison-Gluckstadt Rotary, with the Significant Achievement Award.  Our Club was the only club in the entire district to receive this award.  The award was for the Club's food drive which benefited MadCAAP. Club Wins Significant Achievement Award Jun 17, 2009 Madison-Gluckstadt Rotary awarded the Significant Achievement Award. Madison-Gluckstadt Rotary club was the only club in the district to be awarded the award this year.

This total was good for a # 12 ranking out of the 72 organizations that competed and qualified us for "bonus bucks," which is the equivalent of matching funds. Mark McGuffee and Joe Lee received the club's proceeds on March 3, 2009 from Doug Garner, the public relations director for the Viking Classic golf tournament

Joe Lee, Club President, and Claire Crawford Claire's Bears/Operation Smile Dec 10, 2008 Joe Lee with Claire Crawford of the Starkville, Mississippi chapter of Operation Smile. Our club's annual gift of $1000 is matched dollar for dollar by Operation Smile, allowing for a total of eight cleft palate surgeries each year. On December 10, 2008, Claire spoke to our club and gave a Power Point presentation about her trip to the Philipines and showed pictures of many children who had the surgeries.

Rotary Members present checks and books to Madison Crossing Lower School Librarian Mollie Gillespie and Madison Crossing Middle School Librarian Melissa Simpson Rotary Literacy Month Mar 12, 2008 To commemorate Rotary Literacy Month, our club held a children's book drive for Madison Crossing Elementary School. In addition to presenting Lower School librarian Mollie Gillespie and Middle School librarian Melissa Simpson with over 100 books, we gave them gift certificates from Yellow Dog Books in Madison and The Bookshelf in Ridgeland valued at $250 each. Ms. Gillespie and Mrs. Simpson spoke to our club about the challenges of stocking a library in a school that has only been open since January, 2007
